I operate a SaaS site that sells monthly subscriptions to software titles we develop. While uploading a new software version to the Digital Files application via the product console, I noticed an issue with the process.
When clicking the "Save" button, a pop-up form appears. However, this form is misleading due to poor color choices and the presence of what looks like the word "Save" on the "Send" button. This design unintentionally encourages the shop admins to click the button as an exit point, which instead triggers the distribution of emails—effectively spamming all customers subscribed for every "order" ever placed for that software subscription. I believe this form should be modified so that email is a forced selection like a check box or radio button requiring conscious thought before sending potenially thousands of emails.

Additionally, the email functionality needs better controls to improve how notifications are executed. Specifically, there should be logic in place to deduplicate the email list and ensure that each email address receives only a single notification, regardless of the number of orders associated with that user. I cannot find any justification for sending multiple identical emails to the same address at the same time, as this appears to be current behavior.

Anyone else having issues like this? I seem to have exhausted the support chats.
