Discount on collection only without affecting same product in other collections

Hi all,

I am trying to sell some products to certain people on discount that are given the access to the collection via link. 

The products in this collection also exist in other collections. But I only want to auto apply discount to people who enter through this particular collection link. 
If i apply a discount on collection like normal on shopify, it applies to the product no matter what collection it is in. So my normal customers who come in to the store and check out from the main collection will also get to see this discount added to their cart automatically and I do not want that. 

Is there any workaround with an app for this?

I tested it with native Shopify Discounts but it seems Shopify doesn't support that currently. We can although make use of javascript in the backend to only allow discounts if a user comes through a particular collection using custom logic. If you are interested, just ping me or contact me.
