Do merchant invoices get credited when moving between billing intervals

Our app needs to move merchants who were previously on an annual billing cycle into a 30 day billing cycle so that we can start using app charges.

Reading through the docs I understand that moving between different plans merchants will receive a credit or appropriate charge to balance out the difference between the two plans when moving inside the same billing cycle.

What is not clear to me is if I move a merchant who is halfway through their existing annual billing cycle. When they are switched to a 30 day billing cycle will the remaining credit of the old annual plan be put towards that new 30 day billing cycle with any remainder applied as an app credit for future app charges?

Hi,

as I understood from the documentation, such merchants will finish their annual plan and then be charged monthly. So whenever they move from annual to monthly nothing changes at the moment, just when the annual subscription gets to an end.
