Hi all, I am working on a Shopify Plus store that has fully migrated to Checkout Extensibility although it's still using classic customer accounts. The scenario I'm dealing with is when a customer wants to update their payment details on a subscription order, they are sent an email (either via Admin or customer account area) with a link to the payment_methods page. Here they can enter their new details and click Update card. After verifying the card details with their bank, they are presented with the following page:
Unless there is a problem, in which case they get an error:
Is it possible to change how this page works using Shopify functions or similar?
Changes like:
- Removing or greying out the Update card button after successfully updating their card details. Some customers get confused and are not sure the update was successful (despite the success message).
- Navigating away from this page (to accounts or homepage for example) after a successful update.
- Make the error message more descriptive
I have looked over Shopify documentation and forums and haven't been able to find an answer yet.
Many thanks.

This is an accepted solution.
I've found my answer to this through Shopify Support. Essentially, customisation of the payment_methods page isn't possible right now through functions or apps, although this feature may be added in the future.
