Does an app developer need insurance for potential issues?

Hi, there.

Wanna build a Shopify app as a hobby, make some money from it if possible.

Just a bit worry that what will happen if my app breaks someone's website, they lose a lot of money because of this.

I cannot guarantee my app is 100% bug free. but I might get sued if things gone wrong, right?
