Does anyone know if Google ads is a good channel to gain new customers for our app?

Hi everyone

We are wondering if any app owner partners here have tested google ads to gain more installs. Please advise if you have any experiment on this issue. More specific questions:

1. What is the quality of users coming from this channel regarding their professionalism?

2. What are the costs in comparison to Shopify ads?

3. What conversion rate should I expect from a normal campaign?

I know the questions above are highly dependent to the app, the market, the quality of the campaign, etc, but I need to tune my sense to avoid fatal risks and save time.
