Does Apps integrating in checkout need Shopify stores to be Shopify Plus?

Hello to App Developers,

I recently am developing an app for Shopify stores. My app integrates with checkout step of Shopify stores and get data on orders and products during successful checkout and then shows a dynamic data in success checkout page and order details page. Recently when i wanted to publish my app found out the store that I want to integrate with needs to be on Shopify plus plan. That will be limiting my audience. I wanted to verify from this community if that is needed to have my app integrating in checkout of Shopify stores those stores need to be on Shopify plus plan? In there any way i can tackle this challenge?
