Drop Ship Management

We ship from stock within our retail location and do drop ship from vendors. We have the ordering taken care of. However, we need to have a way to follow those orders until we have tracking to the customer. I'm looking for an app or a solution to help the process. Right now we print orders and track them along with paper trail. We need to be able to see did they confirm that drop ship order, did they send an est. date/tracking, did they send the invoice. Anyone have a solution here you use?
