Ebay error- This operation is not allowed for inventory items.

I have been been able to list my shopify items on ebay but I am now having problems being able to bulk edit them in ebay. I would like to add "best offer" for instance but when trying to save I get the error message" This operation is not allowed for inventory items. Do I need to turn something off on the shopify side?
