App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Facing trouble while importing bulk orders through Excelify, the error is: email differs in each row, make sure you have the same values in each row, or fill just the first row. If we don't include the customer: email then it won't get linked to existing customers history. Could someone help in solving this, bit urgent. Using Excelify app to do so, we tried importing one order and it was successful but error came while uploading 5 orders at a time

Hello @User9
Sorry to hear about your trouble.
The issue here most likely is that the app does not see that all those rows are from different Orders and see it as one big Order with multiple rows, and in that case, there cannot be multiple Customer: Email values for the same order.
To tell the app that each row is a new order or where the new order begins in the file, you can use the column "Name". This is Orders name as it will be seen in Shopify, you can enter any Name there. Usually, it is "#1234" etc. So if you set a different name in each row, then each row will be handled as a different Order.
If you need Shopify to assign order Names to your orders automatically, then you need to use the "Number" column.
Fill any number in this column, different in each row that is a new order. For example, "1" in the first order, "2" in the next order, and so on.
This number will not be set in Shopify and will only be used by the app to tell what rows are from the same Order and where the new Order begins.
I hope this explains it, if you have nay more questions or issues, feel free to reply here or contact us directly.

Hello,
The issue here is that your column headers are not in the Excelify template.
The Email Address would need to be "Email".
Customer: Phone would be "Phone" and so on.
You can see all Excelify template columns explained in our Customers sheet documentation.
When using the XLSX file, then a great hack in Excelify is checking if the column header is colored in the Import results file. If it is not colored then it means that the app did not recognize the column and did not import it.
I hope this helps! 🙂

Hey, faced another issue, not able to upload orders against newly uploaded customers database. New customers were added successfully to the database but now orders are not getting added to their profile, so orders are getting generated without customers name and details. Please could you help .
Hello @User9
Orders are linked to Customer by Customer: ID or Customer: Email columns in the Orders file. Maybe you have an incorrect column header in the Orders sheet or do not have one of those columns?
To better understand what is causing this we would need to see the file that you are importing.
Please contact us directly so we can share files privately and look more into this.
