App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi
I'm a relative newbie to Shopify and installed the eBay Channel about 2 months ago.
Previously I used 3dCart and integrated with eBay. At the time I did sell internationally without issues. During COVID I switched off international sales due to shipping delays.
Anyway, eBay recently sent an email offering 1000 free listings if I listed on 7 international sites. I accepted the offer. About 2 weeks later I had my first international sale. The strange thing was it reduced my inventory, but did not sync the order to Shopify (which is painful as I had to manually process the order through Quickbooks and ShipStation). At about that time I also noticed I was now no longer able to publish products to eBay that were READY TO PUBLISH and new products listed on Shopify (ticked with eBay) were not searchable in READY TO PUBLISH.
It looks like by accepting the offer, my ebay catalogue (and shipping settings) have been moved ebmag - which appears to be different to eBAY AU. It's all very messy.
When I speak to support they "When reviewing the listings for the orders, the listings do not exist in the sales channel and they are showing as using the currency USD and GBP. The currency in the sales channel is AUD. Unfortunately when using the connect eBay sales channel it is only possible to have one market and currency at this time. These orders will need to be manually fulfilled at this time."
I have multi currency setup in Shopify.
This is unworkable. I have had 10 orders. Each order is taking about an hour to process. Each order is shown in GBP or USD and I have to do all the currency conversions to AUD.
What's the problem eBay?
If anyone else gets the offer - don't accept it!
