Facebook Shop sales arriving in Shopify as "authorized" not paid

Order from Facebook in Shopify used to come through a "paid".

Now, an order from Facebook in Shopify come through as "authorized" and will not be marked as paid until shipped.

This just changed for us this week, but I have been reading that since Jan 2023 Facebook using Shop Pay via Shopify will come through as "authorized" and will not be marked as paid until shipped.

Is there anything anywhere to control this?

Having orders "authorized" and payment is collected after shipment is screwing up our backend.
