GDPR Compliant FB Messenger Customer Chat

Hello,

I really would like to install a Facebook Messenger Customer Chat on my stores.

However it seems that there is no GDPR Compliant App in the Shopify Store.

It would be important that there is a 2 step confirmation before the Facebook Code will load, like on this Shopware App:

Does someone have a solution to do this properly?

They have a very responsive support team. I would install, and then chat with them to get the GDPR compliance implemented before activating the chat on your site. They just recently updated the app to include an opt-in checkbox on the site, in order to make it compliant with U.S. laws. They should be able to answer your questions about GDPR as well.

There are Facebook Messenger Marketing Apps like this one which are fully GDPR compliant. 

You can use growth tools like popups, add-to-cart widgets and customer chat to enable your visitors give their consent by checking a Messenger Checkbox. 

Check Flashchat for example which is Free and helps you automate usefule campaigns on FB Messenger like cart recovery, Messenger Receipts, Shipping and others.
