Hy,
We are getting graphql error while saving API Access configuration of our app.
Also we are getting error while fetching orders list, "

[API] This app is not approved to access REST endpoints with protected customer data. See https://partners.shopify.com/3496392/apps/94302928897/customer_data for more details.

" even for development store.  We have also included required scopes in app configuration.

As per our understanding we can access customer data in development store without doing app approval process.

Hi @PriyaBhadesiya
First of all, you need permission to access customer data,
If you take that, then you need to update the scope and push your scope in your store
See this bellow picture

@PriyaBhadesiya

In a Shopify development store, you can't access real customer data due to privacy and security reasons. This is to comply with GDPR regulations.

I'm having almost the exact same problem as you. I need to access a few customers metafield (a specific one) but got "This app is not approved to access the Customer object.". So I tried to fill in the information in step 1 but got (as you) the red box with the text  "GraphQL error: invalid input",  and the information is not saved. But when I refresh the page is seems to have saved after all but nothingt has updated for a few days and it still says "draft" for me. Have you heard any update this seems to be a BIG and anooying issue that no staff seems to recognize. And I have the scopes I need as well so that is not the issue, I think.
