Good apps for free gift addons and free sample selection in the cart

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend some good apps that will automatically add a free gift to the cart based on the items in the cart already? Shopify have the "Buy X Get Y" discount but a user has to manually add the item to the cart which isn't ideal.

Also, has anyone used a good app for allowing a user to select free samples? The criteria being "Spend £30+ get 3 free samples", "Spend £60+ get 4 free samples" and so on.

Would be nice if either of these work with POS too - but not a dealbreaker if they don't.

It also gives customers an opportunity to redeem earned points for coupon codes or free gifts at checkout.

Thank you for the suggestion. We already have this app ready to go on our site which is very powerful.

These app suggestions are more granular, specifically around cart totals/buying x getting y for example.

I believe that the BOGOS app is exactly what you want!

1) With BOGOS, the system automatically adds the free gift to the customer’s cart based on the items in their cart.

- To set up, select the Buy X Get Y template (we’ve pre-set it to save your time) > enter the “Number of products required” (how many X items are needed for a free gift).

- For example, I choose 3. That means if a customer adds 3 X products to their cart, a free gift will be automatically added.

2) To your second need, our offer “Spend more Get more” will be the right answer. 

- Simply enter a value like $30 in the “Multiply base value” field. This will create an offer where spending $30 gets 1 gift, $60 gets 2, and so on.

3) BOGOS integrates seamlessly with Shopify POS, allowing you to easily add gifts to customer orders. After setting up the conditions, the gift will appear as an option for you to select and add to the invoice. Here’s an example of how this process looks:
