App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi
Should i use api or google-tagg in the enhanced conversions settings?
Hi @RunnsSommen,
It depends on your setup and what level of accuracy you’re aiming for. Here's a quick breakdown:
If you want better data accuracy and are comfortable setting up an API, go with the API method. If you need a quicker and easier setup, use Google Tag.
Let me know if you need help choosing the best method for your store!

Thanks very much for the answer, where can i find info on how to set up the api-connection?
Hi @RunnsSommen,
I recommend referring to these resources:

Hi @RunnsSommen
For Enhanced Conversions, using the Google Tag (via Google Tag Manager) is typically simpler to set up and ideal if you prefer a no-code, browser-based solution. However, if you want maximum accuracy and reliability (especially with privacy-focused browsers), the Measurement Protocol API (server-side) is better, as it bypasses ad blockers. If you’re on Shopify, check if your existing apps (like Google & YouTube app) support direct integration
Thanks, i will try to find more info on server side, i have tested wetracked in the past. Dont think Google & YouTube app has server-side support.
Hi runns,
Thanks for your query.
For enhanced e-commerce tracking consider google tag manager GTM .
THanks
Thanks, i will look into that.
