Google Shopping Feed App

Hi there,

one of our clients sells apparel and they have an issue where Google shows an error for basically every product. The reason is that apparently the size and color value is missing.

Which is frustrating because the two options exist and variants are based on them. Sure, the wording is in German, but Google should recognize that. According to my research this is a well known issue...

Anyway, the regular Google Shopping sales channel app as well as two other Google Shopping Feed apps I've tested weren't able to resolve this issue. Are there any apps you can recommend that handle this properly and don't have ridiculous billing plans? Or are the any other ways to resolve this issue? We've tried feed rules in Google Merchant Centre, but due to some setup issues that didn't work as well.

I use https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

And you can setup rules to extract if the color value is in the title.

You can also use pre-existing shopify fields, so you can map all your options.

I saw your posts about this topic in other threads and therefor tested with your recommended app as well. But Google was still showing the same issues.

I already contacted support, I wouldn't rule out any misconfiguration on our end. Let's see if the support can help.

For anyone struggling with the same issue - After some more testing and configuration the Google Shopping App by Simprosys did the trick. The two errors are not showing anymore and both values are successfully passed to Google.

I've also talked to the Support of Multifeed App by WoolyTech who assured me that their app can do the same. So if you're having this issue, maybe test one of those apps and see if it works for you.
