App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I have the google and youtube app installed on my site. It's connected to merchant centre, ads and analytics. Conversions were being tracked perfectly until last week on google analytics however now google tag manager is saying that the tag is not connected.
How do I get the tag connected via the app again rather than needing to add it manually?
And why would it stop working via the app when I haven't made any changes?
Thanks,
The why would it stop, is not an question I can answer.
But to resolve the issue, the best option I find is to uninstall and install the app again.
I've done that and it still doesn't work properly. Anyone else had this issue?
Since 18/07/23 my conversions have stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the google app. I remove my analytics property and recreated it. Binned the google tag and started from scratch but it's still not working.. I'm on the dawn theme. Any help?
You might want to install your own conversion action instead.

I have the exact same issue - my GA4 tag is connected via Google & YouTube app but it's not found on the site. Tried disconnecting the properties, and reinstalling the app but nothing helped. Any solutions please?

I've contacted them already, and here's a reply that I got:

As if I haven't checked all the communities and discussions already. This is a pathetic support from Google.
Not surprised. Google just does not want to deal with your issue. As they don't want to assing staff to fix issues. It is long known that Google support is no longer possible, and now you have to use AI to get answers, or hope someone else figured out how to fix it.
But the reality is, its the app that is broken, so there is no fix. Except for installing things manually yourself.
