App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I'm working on building a store where multiple SKUs are grouped together to form a single product. Specifically, it's a curtain product, and the site will run a quiz on the product page. The quiz will ask customers a series of questions, such as the size of their window and the style of window framing. Based on their answers, the backend will determine how many curtain panels, brackets, and rods are needed for their order.
Each individual item (like the panels, rods, and brackets) needs its own unique SKU for inventory and fulfillment purposes. However, I don't want these SKUs/pieces to be visible to the customer—they should only see the final curtain product in their cart. How can I set this up so that the customer has a seamless experience, but the correct SKUs are still captured for fulfillment on the backend?
Sounds like you need to create a bundled product with a new SKU. Have you tried looking in the App Store first? Reach out to Apps like simple bundles they might be a better resource.

Bundling, yes, but it cannot appear like that in the cart when the customer buys. They should only see the curtain product and not the extra pieces. That is for backend to see only.
Hi @52_Web,
This should be possible with our app, Profit Bundles. From what I can visualize, what you need is to create a Shopify product that will act as a bundle inside our app. For the Shopify product, there will be multiple option values, and Shopify will create all the permutations as new variants for this product.
In the quiz app, you will need to associate the correct variant of this product with each logical conclusion of the quiz. Once this relationship is established, you will need to open our app and add the child items for each of these variants. The child items will be the items sent if someone orders that particular variant of the bundle.
The app provides both options: you can either showcase the child items during the checkout process, or the app can add the child items post-order creation so that fulfillment can happen in the backend.
