Help, advice & App- For Question bank and Video learning on my store

Hi Guys,

I am looking for some advice about how to integrate two new products onto my Shopify store:

1)An online question bank(300 questions and solutions)

2)An online video learning platform (12 different videos)

Access will be for 3 months onto a section of the website and granted following to customers following their purchase to accessing the material.

Ideally access would be limited to one customer device only, to prevent log ins being shared.

What would be the best way to integrate this onto my store? Is there an appropriate app, or is this too difficult to be done via an app alone?

Thank you for your question. I have done a quick research on the Shopify App Store, I think that it may not be possible for one single app to handle everything but the following is my humble recommendation for your concerns:

1. Membership and Access Control App Options:
Locksmith: Locksmith can help you create custom access levels based on purchase history, and it has password protection for specific sections.
Sky Pilot: This app is specifically designed for digital content (videos, files) with access control for customers post-purchase.
Courses or Teachable Integration: If you’re open to a platform that integrates well with Shopify, these learning management systems (LMS) can host the videos and question bank securely.

2. Device Limitation:
Shopify doesn’t natively support limiting access to one device per customer. However, this feature could be approximated with a custom integration using customer session tracking and IP restrictions, though it would require custom development. You should consider contacting Shopify Expert.

3. Membership Duration:
Using apps like Bold Memberships or Recharge, you can set up a 3-month access period automatically, after which access to the gated content is revoked unless renewed.
