App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi,
My Shopify store traffic is quite good because I'm running ads, but I still have no sales.
So what can I do to increase the conversion rate? Any advice?
Free shipping: Customers love freeship, it's such an essential target marketing that you should keep in mind.
Appealing UI: Humans love beauty, of course. The more catchy your store's look is, the more possibility of increasing store's sales.
Wow hi Hilderson,
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I have tried free shipping for quite a while and it's effective. But I think appealing UI will help me to encourage my customers to buy more.
Hi @AllFetch,
Follow the two easy Shopify tip to get the most out of Shopify and set up your eCommerce business to a new level.
Upsell and cross-sell
Selling the necessary accessories with the product also helps you increase sales.
For instance, a person buys a new guitar, but after a few years, it needs to be updated. Thus, when purchasing a guitar, clients tend to need strings, a capo, a tuner, a case and other related accessories. When a business knows consumers need other items to go along with that shiny new guitar, cross-selling happens.
In this case, I wanna suggest Upsell Cross-sell Smart Tool. Shopify merchants can offer a bundle of products (optional), discounted upsell, discounted cross-sell, and so on.
Eliminate abandoned carts
Nearly 60 to 70 of every 100 customers visiting your website will abandon their shopping carts. That makes a lot of e-commerce businesses lose money.
The price and additional fees are two of the main reasons customers abandon their carts. They will leave your site if they can find the same product for a cheaper price elsewhere. Besides, if they realize the shipping fees or other unexpected costs are added to their order, they will find other websites with the free shipping service.
Reduce or eliminate abandoned carts by sending reminding emails to clients. In this case, I highly recommend Thank you Email or Email with Love application, a tool that helps Shopify merchants to retain clients. This app automatically sends mail for customers and remind them of their previous abandoned cart. Don’t forget to add a discount quantity or coupons to allure them to comeback.
Hope this do help!

Hi there,
We believe your customers would want to buy more if they see better product images and galleries, and images are tagged by products.
And we have a solution for you: Shoppable Instagram Gallery

Conversion rate depends on many factors, so to increase conversion rate usually you'll have to do many things at once. That means keep testing until you find the winning combinations. Of course, nobody has resource to do blind testing all day, so here are some suggestions:
- Optimize product page
- Have a strong CTA
- Make your site easy to navigate and checkout.
We have a full guide on increasing conversion rate on Shopify, you can check it out.
Hi TungDao,
Thank you for your great suggestions. I will try to check it out.

Hi @AllFetch welcome to Shopify family
To increase sales you can follow these suggestions :
1. Your leads are simply the people who have expressed an active interest in your products or services. Unlike your typical website visitor, they have given you their name or contact information, as well as permission to send them additional information. They're the first major step in your online sales funnel.
2. Your conversion rate is based on what you want users to do on a specific page. It’s the number of visitors who perform the action you want to be divided by the number of visitors who don’t.
3. A call-to-action (CTA) is an element of a page that tells the reader to take a specific step. For example, in product pages, this could be a button labeled “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart.” But CTAs can also call visitors to do other things, such as subscribe to a mailing list, follow a social media page, or share content.
4. Headline text is also an essential factor in increasing your sales. Whether it’s a headline for an article, a product page, a squeeze page, or your homepage, a headline is usually the first thing your visitors will read. It has to capture their attention enough to keep them reading or browsing your site.
5. Just because your call-to-action is the center of attention, it doesn’t mean that you have to ignore the other elements around it. Usually, the text around or near your call-to-action can greatly impact your conversions. There are several case studies showing that optimizing the text near your call-to-action can positively affect your conversions.
6. Product badges are a great way to highlight specific products in your store so they stand out. Getting your customers to take notice of the best product offerings and promotions means your sales campaigns should be even more successful. You can even combine product badges with proven marketing techniques such as scarcity and social proof and your products should sell even faster.
I hope this helps!

Wow, there're amazing suggestions. I will try the app right now.
Thank you so much.
IMHO I would first look at analyzing where your drop offs are, before you start adding new apps that could 1) detract from your overall experience 2) not solve your users actual problems 3) reduce your margins, these apps cost you $.
Note that analyzing doesn't just mean looking at charts, it also means getting feedback from your customers however possible and there are multiple ways to go about this. Just my 2c from experience having worked for a > $3B ecom. Happy to answer further questions on how to go about this or do a 1-1 with you.
Hi there,
Thank you for your suggestions.
I will contact you if I need.
Best regards,
Richard
Hello ConveyLego0612,
This is SaleHelpr. Here is the reason for the low conversion given below.
1. Bad CTA
2. Poor copy
3. Flow blockers — intrusive or unnecessary steps
4. Too broad or not the right target audience
5. Underestimating user motivation
Please improve the above points in your shop. Hope it will help to increase your conversion rate.
Thank you!
