Help to Uninstall LangShop App without loosing all current work

Hi there,

I am looking to uninstall the App Langshop, which I have used to run multiple languages, currencies etc. instead I want to upgrade to Shopify Plan where I can also handle international pricing etc.

However, since the Langshop app is working by creating a copy of my theme and then all adaptations are done in this copy, I am very hesitatnt to simply deleting the app as I fear I will be loosing all changes done to my current site and not only the translations (I can export all the translations, so this is not the issue).

What about all other design, images, navigation etc.?

Does anyone know how this works?

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve decided not to use our app any ore but I’ll gladly provide you with the information concerning uninstall of LangShop from your store.
I'd like to point out that LangShop doesn't create its own theme, within the app you can only create a duplicated copy of your original theme, which is necessary for translating product images/tags, static text section and creating custom position language and currency switchers.
If you created a localized LangShop theme: https://intercom.help/aheadworks-help-center/en/articles/5615947-langshop-theme ,then you could clear your theme from the LangShop code by re-installing the app and choosing Revert liquid function: https://intercom.help/aheadworks-help-center/en/articles/5615945-revert-liquid
Please, note that ‘Revert liquid’ function removes LangShop code from you theme and doesn’t affect the theme design, navigation or other sections of your site.
Otherwise, if LangShop theme wasn't created/ switchers were not put into custom position in the theme code, there shouldn't be any LangShop code left in your theme and you could proceed with uninstall: https://intercom.help/aheadworks-help-center/en/articles/5615997-uninstall-langshop
