Hi, how do I update my mobile access in Shopify Inbox? I am not receiving push notifications since I updated my phone.

 

I have been in contact with Shopify support but they were asking me to check my notification settings which I do not understand as there is no option to update or delete my mobile access on this app.

To update your mobile access and receive push notifications in Shopify Inbox:

  1. Ensure the Shopify Inbox App is Installed: Make sure you have the latest version of the Shopify Inbox app on your mobile device.

  2. Enable Notifications:

    • iOS: Go to Settings > Notifications, find Shopify Inbox, and enable notifications.
    • Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Shopify Inbox > Notifications, and turn them on.
  3. Check App Settings:

    • Open the Shopify Inbox app.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon) > Notifications, and make sure push notifications are enabled.
  4. Sign In: Ensure you are signed in to the Shopify Inbox app with the correct account.

  5. Check Permissions: Ensure the app has necessary permissions to access the internet and send notifications.

  6. Restart: Restart your device to apply changes.
