How can I activate all sales channels by default for new products?

Hi Shopify community!

Hope you can help me there: my sales channel and in particular the Online Store is not ticked by default on my store. Which means that I need to manually tick it for each uploaded product (I know I can do it in bulk). 

How can I ensure that all sales channels are active by default for all newly uploaded products?

I also require to set sales channels by default when uploading new products. It's a right pain having gone to the trouble of automating product uploads using the api to then have to manually set sales channels.
