App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
We are a local janitorial supply business that primarily sells to local business customers. We started our shopify store during the pandemic to try and grow our audience. We are recently trying to promote multi-channel re ordering for our local business customers. I was hoping to create an online account for them, that would have the products that they regularly order tagged to their account. I don't want to have to create individual collections because that will muck up the "show all" collections page. I want to make it easier for these local customers to re-order their usual products, at the prices that they are charged (10% less than online list price). Is there an app out there that can provide a solution for me? Thanks in advance!
Hi.
Not sure if there is a good solution.
Have you considered importing customers and orders? Customers can certainly be imported, then invited to create an account.
About importing orders, I think you would need an app, so you should check with their support directly if it's possible to do: https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=import%20order
If customers and orders are imported, customers should be able to log in and view past orders on the account page, with customer accounts enabled.
For discounts, you could tag the customers and create a 10% order discount for these tagged customers. But the coupon needs to be entered in cart, so you'd need to inform these customers to use the coupon. So not sure this would work for you either.
