Hello. I can't find and assign a GTIN to an old SONY DCR-DVD308E camcorder. I didn't find the code in the manual.
GMC gives an error.

Make sure to set the condition to used: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324469?
Make sure to add the brand value and set identifier exists to yes.
If you are using the free Google Shopping app, then most likely even when you submit the barcode, it is not submitted by the app. This is because it has had this issue for 6+ months.
Check if its indeed submitted by going to Google Merchant Center > Products > All Products > search for your product > click on it and scroll to the bottom > here you will see final attributes.
If it's missing albeit submitted in Shopify. Then you need to use a different app such as : https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

Google relies on unique identifiers such as the barcode, MPN, or GTIN to help identify a product and make it easier for customers to find a product when searching.
You can take a product’s GTIN manually, from the box of the item. Make sure you read all digits, no matter if some appear smaller, or if they are positioned slightly to the sides of the barcode symbol.
If you pick the GTIN from a database or other resource, the problem that you might come across is that not all databases are compliant with GS1 standards.
Should you resort to a database, make sure you know and understand how it works. Otherwise, errors can appear: for example, a non-compliant database might only store part of a GTIN sequence, while omitting the check digit.

There is a barcode GTIN 0843477005198. But it is not in the databases.
The camcorder is old and the box has not survived.
Still getting the GTIN error.
Error: "Google has suspended your Merchant Center account. Please visit your settings for information."
