How can I authenticate Gmail in Google Workspace with Shopify's domain DNS?

I'm trying to authenticate our gmail in google workspace -> gmail -> authenticate email. To do this, I need to create a new TXT record in Shopify's domain DNS settings. However, I'm getting a "Value is too long (maximum is 255 characters)" error when trying to copy the TXT value from Google into Shopify. Is there a workaround?

Hi there. I had the same issue too. here is the solution; Google seems to automatically create DKIM records in 2048 bit, which Shopify does not support. If you ask to generate a new DKIM record Google asks you if you want this to be in 1024 or 2048 bit. If you choose 1024 bit, Shopify has no problem accepting your new TXT record and voila - your email is authenticated in google workspace.

This is nauseating!  I have had roadblock after roadblock with this Shopify domain, Zendrop, and just about every other app I've installed.  Trying to get in touch with a human being, a person of flesh, in this Satanic AI world, is virtually impossible.  It makes me wonder how many people fail and give up because of all these details, that, to this day, have still not been ironed out.  It's bizarre, and it's because people are inherently selfish and don't want others to really succeed, unless your success is making them money.  I'm going to make my money and get the HELL out of the USA, because I know what kind of horror show is brewing, and you know I'm right, because you can feel it too.  Why else would the current corrupt Administration deliberately sabotage the USA by leaving the border open?  Their defense?  RACISM!  Everything gets blamed on racism or some form of political correctness that the common-core kids have been baited in to adopt, hook, line, and sinker.  It's like they are zombies and cannot think critically for themselves. Is there some reason the largest tech company in the world has not adopted 2048 bit encryption? Is all of this controlled by DARPA?  I am going to spit up.  Need to take a break.
