How can I automate inventory orders from vendors when a product sells?

Wondering what the best way to auto order inventory from my current vendors when a product is sold on my store.  Ex.  Customer orders 20 Richardson hats from my store for me to put their company logo on.  I don’t want to carry 700 skus but have a wholesale account with Richardson. Is there a way to check stock and auto order the hats to be delivered to me with my Richardson account credentials when my customer checks out? so I am not doing it manually for every order and no balls get dropped.  I hope this makes sense!
