App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi there,
We have a physical warehouse whose computers generate a .csv file of the items we sell. This changes as the stocks update.
Unfortunately this file is not formatted like the .csv for our Shopify store. For example, there are fewer columns, and both rows and columns are output in a different order to the Shopify version.
Since our online store has to reflect our stock of products, we need a way to convert the .csv from the warehouse computers to match the format of the Shopify version, so we can upload the warehouse .csv to Shopify and keep the online store current with the warehouse stock.
Is there any app which can do this, or do we need to talk to a coder?
Hi @Pertonstore ,
You may be interested in using Feeds Bridge shopify app which allows you to import products from any csv, excel, pipe or tab delimited files into your shopify store.
All you need to do is define file map and system will know to which shopify field your source file column belongs to, you are also able to manage pricing, merge multiple columns into 1 attribute, make mutations for your attributes (if you need any), you can also validate incomming data if needed, create as many products vendors and define it's own map, and set up daily catalog updates if you have your feed stored on some remote server like FTP, SFTP or HTTP server (like dropbox).
Need to mention that you can use this app completely free of charge up to 500 SKUS.
And most important thing, you can always contact me in case you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them.
Hi Simon,
Thank you for replying. We have been looking at several apps, and your app sounds like it might be what we are looking for. Would it be possible to show you a couple of the .csv files so we know we can use your app?
We are a web and media company, and any replies you send will go to our clients, so it may take a little time to get back to you.
Douglas
Hi @Pertonstore ,
Sure you can send me your files so I could confirm that you will be able to use Feeds Bridge.
You can send them to me via email [email protected]
My app can process any kind of csv, excel file as long as it has all required fields, but if you want me to check and confirm that you will be able to use it you will be more than happy to help you and guide you during the process if needed.
