I work as a developer for a Shipping and Logistics support company. Our company serves some customers who own Shopify stores. Currently, we have an API through which our customers can send requests for delivery bookings using their API Key.
I aim to develop a Shopify app for store owners so that they can submit delivery booking requests directly from their Shopify Store.
I have attempted to utilize webhooks, but I believe this approach may not be effective. What steps should I follow to develop this type of app? Should I explore the order fulfillment API or the checkout function, or is there anything else I should consider?
