How can I efficiently bundle twin and triplet clothing for sale?

Hi all, I am planning to set up shop to sell twin and triplet clothing. I need an app or a solution whereby each product is a bundle of two items i.e. two onesies (twins) and three onesies (for triplets). Currently I am using bundling apps from shopify apps and i have two options: 

- option1: bundling as multiple products : this shows up as two individual products at checkout with separate price points. Ideally the customers should only see the products as a bundle and a single price point and should not be able to view individual product pages and/or edit the cart for individual products. However, this option is compatible with printify. 

- option2: bundling as a single combo: this shows up as a single bundle in checkout which is great but in doing so this becomes incompatible with printify i.e. it doesn't recognise the individual products in the bundle and the order needs to be recreated manually. I also understand that inventory is not tracked in this way 

I want to understand if inventory tracking is a need if my products are sold using POD services and also a solution to handle bundling of items in this scenario.

It is recommended to go with option #1 for inventory tracking and downstream operations like printify.

I think you may display a simple message on product page or cart page that user may see 2 individual items at checkout and that should not be a big issue for customer experience

Or maybe you are looking for 2 quantity of same product in that case, you just need to customise the product page and ensure 1 qty actually equals 2 or 3

Thanks for the reply. can you let me know what app is being used for the link you shared. My issue is as below. I want the cart to show as the bundle as in image 1 and be recognised by POD as two items however printify cannot recognise this when bundled as single combo. If i do multiple products then it shows up as the second image in which a user can click on the individual product page and infact remove one item from the bundle which should not happen.

Our app lets you use option 2 if you prefer that one. When an orders comes through for a bundle we split it into the individual order lines post purchase so can be fulfilled as normal. We also maintain the inventory available of the bundle product by calculating what can be built from the component stock. This lets you have proper stock control.

It comes down to whether the orders are sent to printify automatically or you can delay sending them if using option 2.

hi tom - if the bundle can be recognised as two separate SKUs by printify that would be ideal. Is this what the app can do. And does this meal it would be automatic fulfillment or manual. do you have a trial version of the app.
