App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hello, Newby here. I have just had a estore built for me. I have two apps which I don't think are necessary for my store. They are mulity currency convertor hero and uplinky language translate. reason I don't believe I need them is I don't plan to sell outside the US. I've read that sometimes deleting the apps doesn't get rid of the entire code. So the main reason I want to delete is to improve my score speed. How can I be sure all the code was deleted, and I no zero about coding and don't feel safe changing myself.
Thank you
Great question, @diversegraphx
Most of the time, when you uninstall a third-party app, they will have all code removed. With that said, you best option to ensure no residual code resides in your theme files would be to contact the app developers directly to confirm if there is residual code after uninstalling the app. If there is, they would be able to assist you in its removal.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
