How can I export product metafields with orders?

I have metafields that are associated with products and product variants. I would like to include the data in these metafields as columns when exporting a csv of orders.

I have had a look at a few apps but none a straightforward. Can anyone recommend an app and/or explain how to do this?

Hey there @greensparkstech ,

Our app EZ Exporter can export the product and variant metafields along with the order data as separate columns.

The way it works in our app is we basically look at the product_id and variant_id fields from the order's line item data and make separate API calls to the Product Metafield and Product Variant Metafield endpoints to retrieve them and then join them back with the order data.

In our app, there's a section to specify just the "key" portion of the Metafield:

We support more advanced use cases as well where you might want to manipulate the metafield value further on export or combine multiple metafield values in one column.
