How can I fix the dual cart issue in my blog posts?

I added the Shopify Buy Button App to inject a collection into blog posts.

Unfortunately, the default behavior is adding the products to a drawer cart we're not using.

This causes a weird situation where there are two carts. One that is created from blog post products and the regular page cart that we're using.

Is there a solution to this?
