How can I get real time updates on my Shopify app?

Hi all

The shoify app doesn't seem to uodate the number of products sold in real time as sales are made. This is especially on the 7 and 30 items sold. 

It doesn't push through updates to these for upto 24 hours sometimes. 

Is there a way to improve performance online and on app?
