Hello! 


I'm setting up my store and was wondering if there was an app or a way to implement a "previously bought products" section.

 

We are selling to hair stylists who typically buy and restock the same products they've previously ordered. Is there a way I can add in a tailored section for them to quickly add their favorite products to the cart to streamline the process faster?

I think you tap into the customers API to check for all previous orders (belonging to the current customer). This would require a user being logged in already on your shop.

Then you could have a custom component that could be dropped into any of pages with functionality that populates products based on past purchases, and binds an add to cart button.

I have developed a shopify app that shows previously bought products to customer and allow them to add to cart. Not only this, they can also add out of stock products to cart.
