How can I integrate an external loyalty program with selective order access?

Hi everyone,

We are looking to provide a few Shopify stores with an external loyalty program that is run on our site. The flow would look like the following:

    1. User creates an account on our loyalty program
    2. User shops at any of our partner Shopify stores
    3. For every dollar spent, they earn 100 loyalty points on our site that they can redeem for various rewards and experiences.

So far the brands we have talked to are interested, but some are not comfortable sharing access to all order data. Our system would only need access to orders placed by our loyalty members, which we can link via the email they use to register and checkout.

Is there a way to build an app or integrate with a store to only get access to a subset of orders based off email?
