How can I integrate Brightpearl and Shipstation with my e-commerce site without duplication?

We are already utilizing Brightpearl and Shipstation outside of Shopify for the other part of our business. I would like to integrate the two with Shopify - but I don't want work to be duplicated. 

• If I utilize both Apps for my Shopify site, will that mess up any orders that come through? 

• Will the orders be pushed automatically to both Shipstation and Brightpearl? Or will we need to manually send the orders to Shipstation through Brightpearl like we normally do for orders?
