How can I integrate customer accounts from my online store into my app?

Hi everyone! 

I am creating a shopify store where I am selling a product and a subscription. 

I am building an app (outside of shopify) and I would like to integrate the customer shopify account onto the app for ease of use to the customer (see the subscription, purchase another product, etc.). Is there a way to do this integration?
