App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi,
I'd like support to help me to connect the old store to disconnect FB So I can link with my new store with Pixel.
Who should I get in touch/
Thank you
Alex
Hey Magicalex21,
You'd have to login to the old store (and pick a paid plan to access it), so that you can disconnect the Facebook sales channel/app. When you're done, you can close down the old store, and potentially ask Shopify for a refund on the paid plan you had to purchase (for less than an hour of use).
Otherwise, you can try reaching out to Shopify's support directly, to see if they would grant you access to the old store without signing up for a paid plan ... but I highly doubt they would.
There was this old thread post about the same issue: https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/disconnect-facebook-commerce-from-shopify-closed-store...
But it looks like the steps provided didn't work, and that the recommended option was to go into the old store and remove the sales channel/app (as I've mentioned above).
Cheers,
Stephen

HI Stephen,
I wish I knew what was my old store ?
I think support can login based on the same email I used
this is the only option.
An other thing, they said the fb/ig Is already connected to the other shopify store, I went to check the Fb page, it's not connected to shopify.
Thanks
Alex
It'll probably depend on when you made the store, and then if you used the same email as your current store, when you made it.
If it's from the past couple of years, then you might be able to just login to Shopify from the homepage, and then it'll give you a list of all stores that are associated with your email address, and you can click into the store from there.
If you used a different email for it, then it gets a lot more tricky, and you'd probably need to work with Shopify's support team directly, to confirm your identity, and then get directed to the correct store.
Otherwise, if you can't figure out which store it is (or can't get logged in), then you could always create a new Facebook page. Obviously this isn't the ideal solution, but in a worse-case scenario, making a new page could be a good thing. It would give you a fresh start, with a potentially more active/engaged following.
I wish you the best of luck, moving forward! 🙂
