How can I manage dummy stock in Shopify with Unleashed?

Hi All, 

I wondered if there is a solution out there to my issue. 

Here is the scenario:

I need to have 'dummy' stock in Shopify so that I can sell it. 

Here is the problem:

My tech stack includes 'Unleashed' which is my inventory management system and it updates stock every hour and if I have Zero stock in Unleashed and 'dummy' stock in Shopify it will update the stock in Shopify to Zero. 

Question?

Is there a app or a solution that someone else has used that can accomodate a solution for my issue. 

Notes: I cannot just use the 'sell below' zero solution as I need to track the dummy stock QTY because I can only sell the QTY that my supplier has in stock. 

Any help would be appreciated.
