App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hey everyone,
I've seen this post multiple times now and I honestly can't believe there is no simple solution
I have multiple items in a collection and would like to offer the following:
Each items: £12.50
Buy 2 for £20
Can anyone please advise on how to do this?
Hi @VapeCookie
Yes, Shopify doesn't support fixed-price discounts by default. Even you try to set up a Buy X Get Y discount, the get option cannot support it.
I'm developing an app to set up something like this: you can take a look at my demo here: https://benny-test-store.myshopify.com/products/summer-shoe-sales
Merchants can fill in a simple form to generate a template like this. Let me know if you find it relevant to your case. I'm finding users to join Early Access.
Hey!
You can do this using the app https://apps.shopify.com/upsell-system If you have any problems with the setup, write to the support chat and they will set everything up for you.
Did you ever figure this out?
@bbbbbb ,
This is a case of "Buy X for Y$".
This can be achieved by using our app Every Possible Discount
You can review the functionality on our demo store
The app is build on a latest release by Shopify called Shopify Functions, so this app does not hamper your checkout analyics and does not create any dummy coupon codes.
You may want to try this out.

Hey! I’ve worked on setting up fixed-price bundle deals like this before, and one of the challenges was finding a setup that allowed enough flexibility for this kind of pricing. From my experience, having an app that supports custom pricing rules and lets you define fixed-price bundles can make a big difference, especially when you’re running promotions where the total cost needs to stay consistent regardless of the product combination.
For example, I used MBC Bundles to create bundles with specific pricing. It provided a few different display options, like showing the bundle as a separate product or as a widget on the product page.
Here’s a breakdown of how I set it up:
1. Create a Bundle:
In your Shopify dashboard, open the MBC Bundles app. Click on the Create Bundle button in the top-right corner of the screen
2. Select Bundle Type:
Choose the appropriate bundle type based on your promotion. For example, you could choose Mix & Match, Buy X Get Y, or Product Pack depending on your needs
3. Configure Bundle Display:
You can display your bundle as a Product or a Widget. The Product option makes it appear as a regular Shopify product, while the Widget option shows it on product pages
Choose the one that fits your store layout
4. Add Products:
In the bundle creation flow, click Add Products to select the items that will be part of the bundle. You can also specify the quantity and other related settings
5. Set Pricing Rules:
After adding the products, move to the discount setup section. You can choose between a Sale Price, a Fixed Discount, or a percentage discount for the bundle. For example, set a fixed price of $20 for a "Buy 2 for $20" deal
6. Review and Finalize:
Once you've configured the products and pricing, preview your bundle and give it a name. Then click Create to finalize and publish the bundle in your store
Hope this helps!
