App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Dear all,
I was searching for a product review app and was testing several ones. However one of them (EmbedSocial) left code remains in my shop code and I actually don't know how to get rid of all.
For example I would like to delete following part in the red box. I dont know why but in this moment it is only visible when editing the theme but it is NOT visible when browsing on the live-page.
As you can see, the red box is part of the whole "product information part" in the theme-editor and I can't specify or chose where it's coming from.

It's a really annoying problem.
Maybe someone can help.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hey, @zizoe
To piggyback off of what was suggested, I'd also recommend clearing your browsers cookies + cache files. The fact that it only shows up in your editor but not live storefront might be resolved by clearing up those browser files.
If that doesn't work, I suggest contacting the developers of EmbedSocial directly for assistance on app code removal. You can reach out to their support email to get in touch.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Hi @zizoe
This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App, I’d like to suggest this idea:
In this regard, I recommend contacting the app to ask for help deleting the remaining files in your store.
Hope you find my answer helpful!

In fact, the next day the code disappeared by itself. Guess it was really a cache and cookie issue.
Thanks everybody!
Glad to hear that resolved it @zizoe!
