App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi, We had Easylockdown on our store but we no longer have the app. However we have an themre names "theme-easylockdown-bckp.liquid" and 6 easylockdown liquid files in our snipets. Looks like these were left behind when the app was removed.
I'm looking to clean this up as I'm getting the errors below when inspecting my site with Chrome.
easylockdown-1.0.4.min.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
bap-db7201ec-98a9-45f8-a07c-90ed4cfe7d75:1
Refused to execute script from 'https://www.simplyowlnatural.com/apps/easylockdown/easylockdown-1.0.4.min.js' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
src.js:1

what's the best way to go about cleaning this up?

Hi @chip_at_SON,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with a third-party app, to ensure this gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, the apps coding still remains within your shops theme(s) even after it has been removed from the Shopify admin, correct?
If so, I would encourage you to contact the app developer directly. This will ensure that the EasyLockdown team takes a closer look to confirm that all coding is removed from the theme moving forward without errors. To contact the app developer, you can head to the Shopify App Store and select Support > Get Support.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns.
