How can I restrict store access until customers receive a custom login?

Looking for an app that will not let the customer view the store tell theyve been given a custom login by the store owner

Welcome to the Shopify Community Forums and thanks for sharing your question here. I can definitely recommend the app Locksmith to accomplish this. This has been one of our longest running lock apps in the app store and is used by a lot of merchants. There are a ton of other similar apps though that might offer functionality better suited to your needs. You can do a search in our app store for the words "lock" or "password" to see the majority of these apps. 

It is very important to remember that an app like this makes major changes to your theme file and if the app has any issues down the line you will want to ensure that the support team for the app is available and on top of things. I also strongly recommend creating regular backups of your theme file while using apps like this to help you avoid any access issues for your customers as you continue to build out your store.
