How can I retrieve a payout from a closed bank account on Shopify?

I forgot to change my bank thats for my payout to my new bank the one that’s on Shopify account it closed how can I get that money back

Hey there,

The first step should be to call your previous bank to see if they have received a payment from Shopify or if they still accept payments to closed accounts. If they don't, the payout should be canceled due to the account not existing anymore.

Next change your payout information to your new account by:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.
2. Click Manage.
3. Under payout bank account in the payout details section, click change bank account.
4. Enter your old bank account information and your new bank account information, then click Save.
