How can I retrieve uploaded media files using Shopify GraphQL?

Is there a way to retrieve the files uploaded under Settings -> Files using Shopify GraphQL? I am trying to assign them to a product metafield with my app. Ideally, I'd be able to filter them by file extension also. Thanks!

Anyone have any insight into this?

I was looking at seeing if using 'uploadedImages ' referenced here would work, but I don't see anywhere to add the 'read_images' permission in the private app settings.
