App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hello! For my Shopify store, I want to be able to create packs that resemble the idea of buying products "in multiples of". For example ten 4ft tubes, and another pack that is 25 8ft tubes, and another that might be 2 panel lights.
I want these packs to have the same SKU as the single product (4ft tube, 8ft tube, panel light) inside for inventory and shipping purposes. I also need to show the unit price of these packs. For example, if a 4ft tube costs 15 dollars, then if I buy 10 I want to display that all of them would cost 150 dollars and 15 dollars per each of them. I want this number to be self-explanatory and not have users do the division by themselves.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this? Or any plugin that can offer this.
Thanks!
Hi
You could set up variations for each product and then bundle up the packs to the main SKU.
For example:
Variation 1 - SKU: ABC
Variation 2 - SKU: ABC x 10 + SKU: XYZ
Variation 3 - SKU: ABC x 30 + SKU: XYZ x 2
Our bundle app will let you connect up all your products to correct SKUs and we then update their inventory based on the component stock level. So in above example variations would update if product component changes.
We also have the additional option of unbundling orders made for a bundled product into the component SKUs post purchase. This way the order lines are only for components and can be fulfilled as per normal.
If you need help in setting up and testing please get in touch. You can also find our guide here:

Hi @MarksGroup
You Need to have a base Unit product, i.e in your case 4ft tube, 8ft tube, panel light, then other like ten 4ft tubes would become 10x base unit . As these I feel are related products they can be variants of a single product in shopify. If not then separate products is also fine.
Next in order to connect the inventory and automatically deduct inventory in base unit you need an app like this, it's a free app and you can create unlimited connected inventory products.
Next in app, just select the bigger unit products and in composition map it to base unit product appropriately. Repeat this process for every product.
When the customer order will come app will modify the order as per your composition rules.
Hope this helps!
