How can I test the fulfillments/update webhook with manual shipment status?

this might be a quick, obvious question, but we are implementing the fulfillments/update webhook to trigger events that send data to our app. We can't figure out though how to test it with manual shipment status update as there's no kind of option on the Orders page. Does anyone have docs. that would be helpful in this regard?
