App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Good day,
Does anyone have a solution for uninstalling the Trackeroo app on my store, including the removal of code? The developer unfortunately has not replied to my emails.
Essentially, it was a free order tracking app that switched to paid plans. Instead of a link to my carrier's page, it kept customers on my website, showing them updates on their parcel on my page.
The free plan now only allows 50 orders to check their shipment, afterwhich I have to pay if I want more customers to be able to view their tracking. If I don't upgrade, it's a dead link. At this stage, it has killed my tracking links, the most disruptive one being on the order status page. I don't have Shopify Plus, so I can't edit (and don't have the know-how) the code to bring the my tracking link back.
I just want the link to be redirected back to my carrier's page. Lesson learnt!
If anyone can help that would be tremendously appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi @joni_www,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with uninstalling an app, to ensure this gets resolved.
To successfully uninstall an app, you can head to the Apps page from within the Shopify admin. We have a great Working With Apps documentation I recommend checking out. It outlines, that you can:
Touching on any remaining coding from the app, this would be something the app developer can assist with. As you have indicated you have reached out to the app developer without success, I would recommend Contacting Support directly. This will allow our advisor team to connect with Trackeroo directly to ensure they provide the necessary guidance to remove any coding that may be left in the shop's theme after it's uninstalled.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns.
